Bio: Hello, my name is Denise Davis, I am a 60 year old, married, mother of three who has a passion for helping others find their inner strengths, build their self-esteem and design a plan to work towards a specific goal. I have been in the human service field since 1989, the most recent as a home visitor for a family support program in the area. I have been the person many of my friends and family have come to for empowerment in their relationships and/or personal/professional lives. My skills have grown and developed over the years as my career has evolved.
I have been married for 42 years. Our relationship started off rocky, we worked hard on our marriage, shared strength when one was weak, shared hope when the other could not cope and always, always made the effort to stay connected to each other by recognizing the slumps we were in and discussing, planning and changing the course of our journey.
We have three amazing children, our oldest is 41 and has opened our eyes and minds to many new ways of seeing the world, keeping us updated on the changes around us. Our middle child is 21 and has shown us how working together can move mountains for the ones we love, creating a bond that can never be broken. Our last child is 15 and has taught us how to stay young and active, have patience and strength and to enjoy every moment, especially the small ones. We also have two incredible grandchildren who are beautiful, creative and wise beyond their years. We have had quite the journey, finding our joy along the way in the life choices we have made, the amazing people we have met and the community we have built.
